Merry Christmas to everyone out there who reads my blog. My Christmas Eve was one with lots of mixed feelings. Some very unpleasant things like drunk idiots and irritating chain phone calls from my mum at the worst timing possible, about super non-essential issues. And a paper cut!

Then, there are the nice ones. Like darling coming over to breakfast with me in the morning, then freaking surprising me at work with a Braun Buffel wallet I've been eyeing and alot of really heavenly pastries to add on to the Xray Dept's Christmas mini party. And to top that all off, she didn't even get to talk to me. Feel so bad, I'm also sorry about better so bad, and appearing so unappreciative, I was really overwhelmed with work then... but thank you darling... Really appreciate it.

Hee, may everyone else's Christmas be filled with love too.

Ah, don't you smell Christmas already? Well, Cynthia is back, been having many joyous moments with her. Having her back for Christmas really means alot to me. However, very sadly, I'll be doing night shift on the 23rd, 24th and 25th. Worst of all shift combinations. Oh well, just need to suck it up...

Anyway, we just watched Alvin and The Chipmunks. Haha, would never expect the show to be so nice. Theodore is really cute! Soo fat and chubby... And poor thing... Now I'm listening to the Official Soundtrack. So interestingly cute.

Anyway, the whole of yesterday was spent with darling, doing our Christmas shopping, haiz, finally settled my gift exchange thing, got it wrapped somemore. Orchard was so freaking crowded! All the other senseless shopper trapped in the big time pocket digging by the merchants. Hmm... I should really be on the merchants' end of this food chain.

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone, do drink and eat with caution. If you have gout, go easy on the meats and beans. If you are drinking, don't drive please!! Remember don't drink till the point where you get alcohol poisoning. Also, try to stay off the roads after drinking. If you want to do any of those, don't do so near my hospital, that includes a faraway land like Sembawang. Cheers and have a safe holidays!

Yesterday saw the worst night shift I've ever done. So was Cynthia Athenzia's. I was kept on my toes most of the time, I had a (huge) table completely covered with Aurora forms. And not counting in the new forms that came in and the OTs and CDC. I was left jogging most of the night and even the nurses who sent patients down were like, WAH!

Anyway, Cynthia was no better la.

Oh, I nearly lost my footing while piahing case in, nearly knocked myself out, hhow I wished...

Report after a day of my ridiculously hard pillow and my new bed arrangement

I woke up not feeling grumpy, I don't have a neck ache, i don't have a headache. And I didn't wake up in the middle of the night, despite my idiotic brother inviting 2 of his ah beng friends over to make more noise.

Today was such a perfect day. Half day at ED, with a surprising low number of patients for a Monday morning. Then lunch and home for a nap. Next was to the club for a swim and tan. That's life man. Slow down... Breathe... Watch the world go by...

Jacuzzi...

I'm so tired now. It's been a long day.

First thing of today was the StanChart Marathon. It was really good, though I walked alot just to find my way to the starting area. The run was super crowded, needed to take alot of effort to weave in between human bodies. And the distance traveled felt a little short, and boring, maybe cos the route was designed so that we run to and back on the same roads. Repetitive scenery = boring.

My timing was 1hrs and 18 mins. Not counting in the first 5 minutes or so that I struggled to get to the damned starting line. Anyway, I think I'm satisfied. At least I didn't die of acute myocardial infarction. Got my finisher's medal. I hope to do the half marathon in the AHM next mid-year and hopefully be bad to piah the full StanChart marathon. We'll see...

Later, I went to OG with mum, bought myself a new pair of leather shoes and a new contoured latex pillow.

With the change of pillow and the head and leg reversal of my bed frame, I hope to ELIMINATE my insomnia once and for all. In my old sleeeping position, my head was just a wall away from my brother's comp, which he usually plays all night, so I'm guessing that the EMFs emitted were messing with my mind. Also, when one gets excited with games, one tends to kick and slam the mouse and do whatever. Again, affecting my sleep!

With the new arrangement, I'm so going to sleep well every night. I want my sleep back, I want my life back. So good night folks... Sweet dreams to everyone and myself.

I'm very excited about tomorrow's run. I hope to finish the 1-km within 1hour and 15mins. I haven't been training at all. Still barely recovered from my flu/gastroenteritis. So yah... I'll see how tmr. I promise that I will stop if i'm not well also lah, so don't worry. I'll stick a toe into the whole marathon thingy and maybe I'll do a full marathon next year. Hee...

Here I come! To help TTSH clock mileage in the distance challange. Huat ah!
