IT's been an extremely boring week. Didn't really do much. Just went to darling's place to watch TV with her. And get very frustrated with her very very humid and hot room. Then there'll be the long and irritating bus ride home. The ride yesterday was really bad and I was feeling queasy for the last 20% of the ride. Got home and puked.
Anyway, on the lighter note, I've finally found an optical shop to get my glasses made. Wooo hooo... New glasses to arrive on Friday. 1.67 Super Hi Index lenses with a nice fashion frame for $165. Quite a steal in my opinion. Oh, and Bernard's Corner in lousier food court at Loyang Point serves really nice Western Food. Pity it's in such a weird and faraway corner.
Going for A Midsummer Night's Dream at Fort Canning Green later, I'm hoping for good weather and that the ground is not too soggy. Really hope so... It's been pouring all morning.
And also, I've been resting for the past few days because I don't dare to push my body after my flu. Have you heard of stories about teenage boys who play basketball ball just after they recover from influenza? Well, as the story goes, they drop dead at the courts. There are similar stories about football and other sports. And that's why I'm not exercising, but I'm starting with a light exercise tmr. Maybe a short run around my estate. It's quite near TTSH, so I'm kinda safe. Haha....
