I've been missing from action for a number of days now. So, why have I disaapeared? Well, it's cos my damn lappy's RAM was burnt. Think I've been pushing this baby too hard. Anyway, I sent it to the HP Service Center, and I tell you, it's the nicest service center I've been to in all these years. I was surprised when they very honestly put, "The estimated waiting time is about 33-44mins." Reasonable. Well, the wait area was just amazing. There was the usual free coffee machine, that's not the amazing part, there were tea bags, sugar, and creamer nicely arranged next to the coffee machine. What's more, there were some plain crackers in jars and (here's the amazing ppart) bread rolls! With a wide variety of fillings! It's like a high tea buffet spread. The seats were nice leather sofas and there were some computers for the waiting crowd to surf the net and do whatever. Oh yah, loads of newspapers to go around. No wonder people tell me HP has very good customer service. I'm a believer...
Thursday night was pool with Kok and then was at a KTV pub called Labyrinth, nice place, quite spacious...
Friday was swimming
Saturday was mahjong when Kenneth had to bao a da san yuan for everyone.
And Sunday was Kok's gig at the House of Rock. The pub really sucked, super tiny and cramped, the system there sucked too. But Kok's band, LivEvil rocked... They rocked real hard, felt like head banging along, but the crowd like sian sian, so I did away with that.
And I went to collect my lappy today. Wooo hooo...
