Noxin presentation was on the past Thursday. I've screwed up my speech quite a bit. Sigh, the lack of sleep and other factors. Didn't practice enough also lah. Anyway, we are the most question asked group. Although some think it's spoiling market and not nice to ask questions, I on the other hand think that people ask questions because they are interested, and because they want to know more. Anyway, being able to answer whatever question thrown at us was also a good indication that we've covered all our bases. To my group members, i think we've don't well. However, the stupid questions asked were very ruthlessly slammed by me. Firstly, you cannot stack stuff together and throw it into a box. And also, surgical equipment are also sterilized before hand, there's no autoclave in the surgical floor anyway.
Went for a BBQ today. Realised that there are some kids who don't know how to play the traditional candle-lit paper lanterns. If parents think they are protecting their kids from fire, they are seriously depriving their kids of a real childhood and a fine Chinese tradition. So sad, I wonder how many of those kids will know the story behind mid-autumn fest if it was not taught in schools. How about dong zhi and other festivals? Oh man...

7 years ago. Maybe 6, when I was in JC, i switched on my TV at 11 o'clock and tuned in to channel 5. And goodness, Gilmore Girls was on. That was the first episode of the first season. And now... 7 seasons later, on the opening day of these season, I'm still watching it! And loving it. To some, it may be a girls' show, but heck lah, I'm proud to be following it through all these years, and not getting sick of it. Sigh... Wonder when Lorlai will ever be together with Luke.
Ah ha... Back to study...
This is Chong Chun MEng reporting in Ubuntu world! Woooohoooo... It's so fun! And pre-installed with all the free stuff! Now this is wat i call a good OS!

I walked out for dinner just now. There was no dinner at home and i didn't feel like cooking. And i reckoned that some outdoor time would benefit my eyes, giving them a good break. Anyway, at the coffeeshop, at the table next to mine, there was this China Chinese lady. Suddenly, her (i presume) husband came back from the mixed rice stall with his own plate of mixed veg rice. The lady just slammed her fist on the table, stood up angrily, scolded something that i couldn't catch. Then she stormed off to the join the queue at the mixed rice stall...
Then I thought, "Women..." "They may come from different corners of earth, they're still... Women..."
Which led me to another thought... I wonder, if it was a woman witnessing this, what her thoughts will be. Is it, "Bastard... Must be the guy's fault." or "Bitch!" (keeping in mind that women have a problem with not only men, they have problems with other women as well, think office politics) or "Aiyah, so paiseh, next time before i throw a temper, I should think twice" (this one, i doubt so)
So ladies... Which is it? Do tag...
Also, I've just read something about Ubuntu. I'm so excited that I'm giving it an immediate download. Since it's a bootable CD version, with no installation. I think i'll give it a go. So exciting... BTW, Ubuntu is an open-sourced Linux operating system, which recently got alot of attention for being easy to use...
Just thought that this will be using for friends in DR course doing Rad Info exam tmr. Headache siah... and the notes don't explain the divide by 2 method properly.
Good luck for tmr's exam... CheerS...
Converting decimal to binary
To convert decimal to binary is also very simple, you simply divide the decimal value by 2 and then write down the remainder, repeat this process until you cannot divide by 2 anymore, for example let's take the decimal value 157:
157 ÷ 2 = 78
78 ÷ 2 = 39
39 ÷ 2 = 19
19 ÷ 2 = 9
9 ÷ 2 = 4
4 ÷ 2 = 2
2 ÷ 2 = 1
1 ÷ 2 = 0 with a remainder of 1
with a remainder of 0
with a remainder of 1
with a remainder of 1
with a remainder of 1
with a remainder of 0
with a remainder of 0
with a remainder of 1 <--- to convert write this remainder first.
Next write down the value of the remainders from bottom to top (in other words write down the bottom remainder first and work your way up the list) which gives:
10011101 = 157

I'm currently watching the Singapore Idol Finals Results show. Energy sucks, can't sing... No wonder they've lost the other few members. Anyway, this show is so crappy man... disappointing. Why must the other finalists lip sing? Seriously... they can sing quite decently wat... why must they let me catch Matilda struggling to mouth her song to the speed of the damn cd that's playing... And Matilda's dress makes me feel disgusted off pork... eeeewww... should go on white meat for a few days...
School still sucks. Good thing I have no school tmr... Hell yeah...

Fuck you! May your mother and sisters get raped by a HIV postive rapist. And may you get raped in jail too. Die a slow death of AIDS."

Ok, new skin. Something darling pointed out to me. Think it's a nice and refreshing skin. Loads of space. Very much bigger window for text and pictures as compared to the last busstop skin. Like this skin. Really think it's cute, relates to the Bak Chor Mee Man story @
www.mrbrown.com Great stuff there.
The past weekend was spent celebrating darling's birthday. Her birthday party was at Aloha Loyang, really good time there. About 45 guests turned up. Quite a crowd she invited. The food was good and her cake was HUGE! Had a good time. Photos soon...

Just got home at 10 just now. Intended to go home at 2pm today. But i ended up going to grab a present for darling. Then accompanied her to The Concourse to buy decorations for her party. Headed over to Far East Plaza for her manicure and pedicure session, my treat. Pamper my princess like siao... Then, with loads of dumb and lame lies, i tricked her home and where Angel, Sok and Shihui, her besties, cooked up a meal for her. The flavours were really ok. Just that there was egg bits in Carbonara... Haha. So nice rite...
I think my acute fartinism has ended. There's no black shadows at my splenic flexure liao... Feels so gooooood......
Baobei Turns 21!!!Happy happy Birthday my darling. I know, it's a age that involves many many mixed feelings. It's a bitch to turn 21. You're officially an adult, your choices count, you have to worry about adult stuff. But I'll be here, to help you out.
I'll continue to feed you with loads of goodies, make you happy! There's are still loads of challenges ahead but you'll through them together, hand in hand. Promise me you'll be a happy girl ya...
Love you to bits too...

Just watched 2 group's proposal presentation today. They are pretty innovative in the stuff they've came up with. A friend reminded me that she reads my blog. That person is Shuhan, she says she reads regularly, but she never tagged. Why nobody tag recently? Wendy's tag was on the top for so long liao.
There's a Imaging Quiz tmr. Everything in me is telling me that the quiz is not going to be too difficult. Mr Ho's questions require thinking and no need memorizing, still, must study leh. ah bo nothing to thinking with. But still, i'm convinced that my 2 year analysis of his questions are right. Anyway, there's a chance that he reads this. So maybe i shouldn't challenge him to set more memory work questions. Haha...
Today there was this psycho/socio lecture (think it's socio). There's this concept called the external or internal locus of control. For people with an internal locus of control, they believe that their own decisions and actions can control situations going over. These people actively take action and not leave it to God. This is probably my style... What say you?
(I'm posting a question. Someone tag!)
"Just 50 years ago, people treated the shiny liquid metal like a toy. Sadly, I’ll never experience the strange sensation of sticking my entire arm into a barrel of mercury, as kids once did during factory tours. Today mercury is considered a horrific poison, so bad that schools are evacuated for a broken thermometer.
Of course, mercury didn’t become more poisonous; we just learned more about it, including the fact that breathing its vapors can lead to brain damage."Playing With Poison http://www.popsci.com/popsci/how20/252c8c09c166d010vgnvcm1000004eecbccdrcrd.htmlAnyone thought that it could be applied to x-rays? Maybe some day in the future, some guy will say that ppl in the past use x-rays to blast at poor sick patients.
"It's not that x-rays got more dangerous, we just learnt more about it, including the fact that x-rays cause spontaneous cell damage." -Oh well, that's just my ponder, no worries right now. What you don't know won't kill you...

Several things to do right now. Not doing them actually. I'm tired. School starts tmr. The long awaited one week break was blown on projects and recovering for attachment sianness. So there wasn't any real holidaying. Didn't touch any sand, didn't touch a ball, didn't touch a cue, didn't touch any supper. Surely not a holiday by any defination. Zo bo-ing at home is surely damn shiok. I've cleared the first season of House M.D. Nice show, although most of the imaging modalities are fake. If you are a non-radiographer who watches House, and you happen to read my blog. I tell you, the imaging modalities are run by RADIOGRAPHERS. We take x-rays, we (ok, technically my seniors) do MRIS, CTs, PET scans, ya da ya da... So yah, Radiographers. So some idiots pronounce it is lehdiograffffffers. But anyway, that's still us.
Anyone heard the PM's rally? Mai hum mai hum mai hum mai hum...
