Heh... Everyone's complaining about school on their blogs. So boring rite?
So whaT'S THE good thing about this year 3 shit?
Firstly, we've been slacking too much, too much slacking makes people stupid, smart people become mildy stupid, stupid people get stupider. So this 3rd year is going to get the rusty gears going. Hey, the most relaxed days in O Levels and A levels were like much more stressful than the most stressful days in NYP loh. Wooo hooo... Such a high to be running around like an ant, which brings us to the next point...
I've been too relaxed in this lobo state of life, with this forced jump start, it'll put me on a reasonable gear for working like mad when we graduate. Still not a bad thing.
This sem teaches us all the most marketable skills in the market, sono (for the girls), informatics (PACS experts earn a f-ing lot, think along the line of julian gan). It's all about the money, it's all about the dum dum da da dum dum...
This suddenly feels like mooding during NS. The anticipation for ORD... ORD loh!
Took a really long walk yesterday. From my place to Mohd Sultan. Along the way, I saw drag races along Orchard Boulevard. Quite a sight I must say. And the ironic thing was that there was a road block along Clemenceau ave, just 100metres away from the junction where the cars go zooming down. It's amazing how loud the cars can roar, hell yeah... I wanna drive one of those... Hmmm... If now, no money lah... And i don't enjoy being on the wrong side of the law. Zoom zoom zoom...
I took a mid night cab from Pasir Ris to my place last night, it took a mere 15minutes. Damn freaking fast I must say... But the cab is a lousy industrial vehicle after all. Hmmm... I wonder if i can do the trip within 10 mins on a rex, with a much smoother ride... but then again, it's just a dream, fuel is too expensive...

School's getting really tiring. Really feel damn tired. And it's only been 4 weeks. Sigh, ending project meetings and discussion (sometimes near quarrels). Attachment in 23weeks time. Hope this attachment could be a good break. I wanna sleep early tonight!

I never really liked small animals. Don't know why, maybe it's cos my mum have been psychoing me since I was a kid that animals are scary and dirty stuff. Which till now i still think they are. Anyway, after some official components hunting today, we went to Munts and Mittens. It's a shelter for dogs and cats. Eeeewwwwww... Pauline loves dogs. She was so comfortable with them. But for me, it was an absolutely traumatic experience. The moment we stepped into the long row of cages, those things started barking like mad. Think NDP F16 flying past with afterburners on. Think hard hard techno bass knocking so hard that you feel your lung thumpping along. That's how that felt. Those were dogS!! They felt like man-eating wolves! Salivating at the sight of human, for them, we must have looked like 3 pork chops and 1 row of spare ribs. Anyway, I slowly slowly eased off the tension. We found this really cute dog called Doppie, she's really cute, very nice and friendly. I finally tried stroking her and played with her a bit. I even brought her for a walk, so proud of myself. Good experience, but i still cannot stand little animals. Animals should be kept in the wild, which reminds me that I really hope to go for a real safari adventure in Africa somewhere along my life.
This entry's really kinda lame, but they all know i don't like animals. Haha...
BTW, CMS really doesn't work with MS WinXP with SP2 installed. It's a confirmed but never fixed situation (by the school). The people who can actually work with CMS from home either have some work around or aren't using the above mentioned config. Did i mention Office 2003?

The Unbeatables were finally reunited.
After ten years in the making, out Jeremy Tang has finally managed to get all 5 of us together, since Primary 6. The Unbeatables were a group of five boys from St Michael's who play football together every recess. With a little green ball.
Anyway, I'm the only one in the 12 year old clique doing a diploma now. Felt a little out of place, however the littlest edge i had was that i was the only one being paid to study. Jarren's struggling his ass off in EEE, Clifford's on MF scholarship (mother-father) studying in Manchester, Jon's in Chem Eng, Jeremy's in Perth scoring a freaking good result slip. I gotta admit that Jer and I have woken up our ideas, the A level was a big kick in the ass man. And I'm proud of my good ol pal. I have to say this, i can really picture jarren sitting at a kopi tiam drinking tiger and scolding the gov 20 years down the road. fuck we're old...

Isn't life a bitch, when you feel like you're lost in a forest. And the direction signs aren't helping?
School started, the World Cup Ended. The betting run wasn't too good. Lost about 70 odd bucks. Not too bad lah. Anyway, aim hi shoot low ma. Anyway, my school life is damn busy. School looks easy, not many modules, the modules look not too difficult. But there's an upcoming quiz. Alot to study, but aiyah... There are loads of projects too. What a major turn off. 3 in line now, the FYP, the Behavioral Science Project and some power point thingy. I seriously feel that the third year in NYP is a space filler for a 3 year course. Everything we're taking now is supposed to be the stuff you pick up along the job course. And the coverage is so damn shallow, so shallow that there really isn't much practical usefulness. What to do...
And i hope no lecturers are reading this. Btw, I really hope to do a good FYP. A really good one, not simple, must be challenging and that there's something to learn along the way. Don't wanna revolve around all the old stuff. Hoe it goes well...

This holidays was a really bad one. Other then the occasional meeting up with darling and salsa lessons and the holiday and BBQs. It was just football, betting, losing and instant noodles for me. I feel like crap now. Argh...
I hate instant noodles

Sigh. Lost my Argentina match. Argh! Argentina should've won! Only one person within my circle of friends told Germany could win. It was a totally unconvincing win man. But nvm lah... Ball is round.
Watched Football Hooligans at Jeremy's place. Moral of the story? Women cause the downfall of men. Women...
My life's a bitch now... Sigh...
