First 2 weeks of attachments is over. Not glad that it's been 2 weeks already, but leaving AH is just so difficult. I love the hospital to death! It's such a beautiful place! The butterflies, the stupid colonial style architecture and of cos that weird fountain. It's really damn beautiful you know. It really feels like i've moved back in time many steps, when life wasn't this fast and the good old classical ways were practice. I had the chance to explore the hospital compounds with Wan zhi i little and I was damn surprised with the things we've found! There's actually a butterfly cage in the hospital. You know, like the ones in Sentosa and the zoo. It was really nice, but we hit the cage too late in the noon, only a couple of too hyperactive not sleeping ones were wondering around. Then there's this huge water collection tank, those old school style rain water containers to store "fresh water", looks like a German hand grenade. The colonial style corridors, ah... such a soothing environment.

Oh yeah, the payout has arrived!

Feet hurts. Salsa classes started. I'm lovin it. Work was pretty boring today. Nothing too exciting. Yawns... Very sleepy, and the damned bus in the morning was super late and super crowded and single decked!

Oh well, it's Monday. The rest of the week will be better.

Ok, I'm blogging the second time today. I'm feeling tired, but I just don't feel like sleeping so soon. don't know why. Maybe it's because it's friday and I really want to go out. But due to my major and big stretch (mentioned in previous entry), I've decided to stay home to watch shows. Sigh, I've ran out of episodes to watch. Reall enjoyed watching the O.C. I won't spoil the story for all those who follow O.C. but it's damn nice lah. Feel so troubled now...

Well, since no one has blogged, I'll blog. Work at AH's been good till now, other than my lack of concentration at times and the poor admin work, the rest were all going well. 2 consecutive days of sleep lost is a big problem. There's one big fat stressor in my life now, that is money.

I've totally overspent my money, blew my cash, blew my already tiny savings. I'm down to the tens of dollars. I'm so screwed, I need to scrimp and save to the last cup of coffee to try and strrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeettttchhhh my remainding dollars to survive till the 25th (which is the day my allowance gets credited in). Now all my assets are on my (sort of) fixed deposits I started a couple of months back and my Income Plan (thaT current has a pretty low surrender value) Yes, people say I get alot of money monthly for my bursary, but I pay for loads of stuff. I admit that I love spending too. The very ill-planned new mobile phone buy was definately a bummer. Along with the memory stick and salsa lesson fees. Sigh... I never want to be in this state again.

Well, I've been struggling with this situation for the past few weeks. Sigh, school fees coming up, I feel so screwed. On the good note, payday is arriving soon, May 1st too!! Progress package! Going to strategise my progress package. I have no intentions to spend the money AT ALL. Hope to use it to rebuild my bank account baselines. And prob to pay for my upcoming holidays. Sigh...

Anyway, I've started an expenditure diary with this little program I got off the net. Hope I can figure out where all my money goes to with this. And then, have better money planning. Sianz...

***Edited*** I just remembered that some people may think I'm so fortunate compared to them, ya da ya da and get all so irritating comparing themselves with me. I just gotta say, I'm me. I've got my own grand plans, my own dreams, my own life. If you wanna get defensive, go elsewhere.

Attachments make me sick. Sigh, the A n E X-ray room is freaking cold. Having to walk in and out of it definately doesn't help. Well, I've gotta a cold, nose keeps running, nasopharynx feels weird. Been popping vitamin C pills and Clarinaese like mad. Gotta write report, sianz...

Pretty good day at Alexandra Hospital today. Good start. Nice, slow, pretty work place. It always amazed me when everyone in the hospital are dressed so smartly! The security guards, the phototech, the receptionist! Woo... So professional, and like all the staff are very very friendly and they won't stop smiling at each passing colleague, I am very impressed with the cosiness of the hospital work environment. wOnder how the culture will become when they shift over to the HUGE AH@Yishun.

Huge is cold. So sad huh... Like in TTSH, everyone faces the ground as they walk, so unfriendly and cold.

Oh well...

Reporting live from Costa Sand Pasir Ris!

We tried the very talked about chicken rice sold by the retrenched Chatterbox Chef. Chatter Box is the restaurant at Meritus Mandarin that serves the "Best Singapore Crusine" which is chicken rice. Anyway, the presention was really good for food court food. However, it did not taste good at all.

Studying for the whole day straight is definately something very tiring. Been studying since the afternoon. Although there are huge breaks in between, but I've studied alot today.

My brain is filled with informatiom, haha... Yeah, but Rad anat was encouraging, really want it this time. The more papers I do, the more I feel like I want it.

The stress is crazy, but during breaks I'll do research for my June Holiday to Thailand/Phuket and Bangkok(tentatively). Can't wait!

Yeah, with the escalating stress, I find it difficult to sleep. Like during breaks and even at night. A good way that I've rediscovered is to meditate. OOOooooophmmmmm... Really relaxes the mind, cleans up the thoughts, slows down the eye movement and muscle tension. Oooooooommmph...

My neighbours are animals!!!

Yesterday, as a was going downstairs to run some errands, I saw something that they were doing that I would much rather have not seen. There was a mattress being hung on the corridor railing for sunning. And oh my fucking god, the man of the family whipped out a can of insecticide and started spraying every inch of that mattress. He even meticulously sprayed into every seam on that mattress. Fuck, I really wonder what insects are living inside that damned mattress and house! Everything is telling me it's lice! AKA Ku-tu... Oh fuck! I have to walk up and down passing that fucking family everyday to and from my corner flat!

And frankly speaking, if my mattress is infected with whatever, I throw that thing away.

Such a long tiring and sleepy day. My life sucks so bad now. I'm pretty convinced that i've screwed up my imaging quiz, it's going to pull down my overall. The aim for this week is to study Rad anantomy like mad. I really have to nail it this time round, I have been consistantly scoring around C for rad anat, I really hope to not get C for Rad anat. Sigh... Cannot afford a D. So yah, must piah. Alot of people aren't understanding with my desire to score. If not even asking for encouragement, just leave me alone, don't come and disturb me when I'm doing my serious stuff and forcing me to break my momentum. I'm a screwed up and selfish person during exams. I have a strong want to do well, I'm hoping to nail 3 As this time round, patho, imaging and either RM or BS. RM is project based which we really have a very bad direction for, BS project is going pretty well so far, need to work on the theory paper. So many to think off, so little time. Hopefully I can get my first ever A for Radiography this time round too, but I just suck at written regurgitation papers. See how bah...

So many hopes, too little time. Need to stay focused.

Moral of the story, if I say i'm busy, leave me alone. Thanks.

I'm suddenly very excited about open sourced computer applications available on the web. These apps are totally free and developed for everyone. There's Open Office especially, for those who can't afford to buy Microsoft Office. www.openoffice.org

Haven't tried it, but reviews say that it's damn good. Even if it's full of bugs, hey!, it can't be much worse than MSOffice right?

Just got back from Siew Wen's birthday celebration. Turn up wasn't good. There was Terri, Kevin(terri's bf), Siew Wen, Yuki, Qiaohui, Eileen and me. But it was good catching up with those few there. Hmmm... Glad that they read my blog. Hi there! Took some pictures. But only one decent one of the girls with my camera, the rest are on Terri's cam. The shining FX8. So gian that cam. It's been my dream camera since 2 years ago. Anyone wants to buy a 5MP Olympus Mju Mini?

Hmmm... Was thinking if I should say this, but heck lah... I was absolutely disturbed by something at school. (Trust me, it's not you)

These are some nice photos I took today.

Can you hear the silence of the night at my marketplace?

A very nicely zhng-ed (modified) Lexus RX300, pure sweet and sexiness.
