Ok, after the disappearance. I'm back. I'm glad that I've entertained you people with that very interesting MRI picture. It's really not porn. Just that Mr Anatomy Leonardo Da Vinci drew a stretch of the missionary position of the INSIDES of the stuff. So yah, some guy decided to pick up the study and do a REAL imaging using the most hi-tech thingy out there now. So yah, MRI. I was looking up the word "penis" in www.x-ray2000.co.uk hoping to find the techniques involved in a "calvanosogram" (i can't spell the word for nuts!).
Anyway, first day at Ang Mo Kio Hospital was good. The main tube blew, so we did general in the fluoro room, which sucked. But as the good old saying goes, "Cannot swim say cannot swim, don't say the swimming trunks too big". But after some mind adjustments... I think i'm back on track. HAHA.
Well, the thing that I'm usually most excited about attachments are the food around the clinic/hospital. Not so much of collecting cases, sucking up to radiographers, fighting with other ppl for cases. Just the much awaited lunch break.
So here's the list
1. SGH - There's this wantan mee stall down Outram Road, 5 mins walk from SGH, wantan mee there is goooood. Just need to endure the sun. The duck noodle and kway chup at the Kopitiam Food Court is nice, but steep. The Bar Chor Mee is very edible. The housemen canteen is cheap and edible. The cafeteria is a waste of time, but Ng Hon Win likes to go there.
2. TTSH - Food Junction there sucks, but the Nonya stall is quite nice. Hear the Ban mian is good, never tried, no up to my standards.
3. AH - That's heaven. Alexandra Village Food Centre is GOOD! There's claypot laksa, the bak chor mee in the middle isle with the limping man is good! And there's the avocardo juice in the carpark-facing isle! BEST MAN! Rojak's good too. Of course, there's IKEA nearby. The canteen there is a freaking disgrace to the food industry. Have you eaten curded hor fun sause? If you're keen, go there... YEEEKS!
4. NUH - Sigh... Waste time... I think the Bryani would be nice, but it's always sold out by the time I go for lunch.
5. Bukit Merah Polyclinic - Wah! The Fish head noodle stall has a queue at any time of the day. Lunch waits could be up to 20 mins! But of course, it's freaking good. There's a very good fried dough sticks stall. With big red signboard one. Their butterfly is damn power. One of the fishball noodle stall is damn nice.
6. Geylang Polyclinic - Fish soup! ASK ANY of the staff working there. They'll give u directions. Claypot rice in the same coffee shop is damn good too. In the faraway hawker centre, there's another chze kar stall that the staff of DDR dept like to eat at. Food there is nice too.
7. Ang Mo Kio Hospital - Still looking around. Nothing looks good at the hawker, but i think the food in the coffee shops will be nicer bah...
Hope my food guide helps! Haha...
