Just spent some quality time with darling. This week's been terrible. I haven't been sleeping well recently, school seem to suck big time everyday and i've been walking around like a zombie recently. Since i've started my gyming and muscle building program that jun yuan drew for me, i've been gaining weight quite damn rapidly. Think I need to take the counter-measures soon. Muscles weight much more than fats. Oh man... I suddenly feel like fats is much better... haha, that's crap. just need to shed weight.
BTW: I've figured that there are quite a number of new readers of my blog, so i'm going to write an entry with the list of readerS!!! OH ya, there are new memeber's in the "Spy-on_NuhC Club!" (I know you're out there!!!)

Creepy creepy nite...
Last nite was the 7th day that my uncle has passed on... According to chinese traditions, the family will have to set up a meal for the deceased in the house and "invite" him/her back for the meal. Aw man... It was that night last night!!!
My dad set up Chicken Rice, mooncake and Gordon Blue for my uncle to "come" back to eat. (Reasons for the meal setup is cos, my (late) uncle likes to eat chicken rice, it is mid-autumn festival and he drank alot while he was still around) We were ordered to stay inside our rooms to allow my uncle to come back. Naughty me (or was it Cynthia) called me at mid night, 12AM exactly. My damn phone kept vibrating away even as I pressed the green "call" button. I was expecting to hear baby's voice, BUT there was no voice!!! Argh!!! And after some time, there were noises of chairs being drawn coming from outside (or was it my meighbour upstairs) and the most terrible thing of all, there were constant regular knocks on my room door!!!
How spooky can things get??? And in the morning... the disposable chopsticks set up next to the chicken rice was seperated...

Hey ppl, thanks for the condoloences. I'm fine... My uncle was a big time underground guy. Well, he did made it to the newspapers once again. The Chinese Evening papers of SPH has been putting him on the cover for the past 2 days. Haiz... He is such a powerful guy, in the underground world. There were like many many gangsters friends of his at the wake. Heard that after 3am... There were many many more who came down, well u see... Those ppl are usually associated with night businesses... And nite life ends at 3am... You get the idea...
Well, I just watched my Gilmore Girls!!! It back was some really crazy developments with Rory and Lorlai... Luke and Lorlai are like.... TOGETHER!!! Not that many of you ppl out there reading this actually give a shit. And this week's Joey was good too...

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd - Alexander Pope
Just saw Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind... It's an amazing show, just that I really need to think alot alot throughout the show.
BTW, could someone explain the quote (on top)? It's a quote from the show, but I don't understand... Maybe the muscleman from NUS Arts can help...

I survived the NYP Boy's Brigade Primers Night Cycling Trip 2004. Haha, actually I wasn't expecting to die during the trip but yah, still it was painfully difficult to organise such an event. For those who don't know, I was the 2nd in charge of the organising committe of this event. There's also Zhixiong (1st IC), Huishan, Chong Quan, Kenneth, Gracina, Clara and of course Pam. Planning started way back and now that it's finally over, the satisfaction was overwhelming. I'm sure the rest of the committee feels the same way as I do.
The event started late, very late, cause by some administrative problems. But it all started off fine, the participants were nice and orderly and generally followed the instructions. We had two ambulances following us, thanks to St. John's Ambulance. Those ppl were amazing, they helped us block off traffic at hard to cross junctions. We travelled from ECP out of Fort road, then Mount Batten to Kallang, Victoria Street then Esplanade. Along the way we attracted lots and lots of attention. Duh... there were about 40 cyclists and 2 blinking ambulances. Well, from Esplanade we worked our way down Shenton Way to Harbour Front Centre andhad the first break there. It was really fun to stop to take photos, talk cock and among the committee memeber, we discussed the game plan.
Later we moved to Alexendra Road all the way down to River Valley road and off to supper at Kopitiam at Dhoby Ghaut. After that, it was all the way back to East Coast Park the final destination. It was truely amazing to see the glad faces of all 40 cyclist at the last stretch of the route. Thanks you all participants...
Interesting quotes of the cycling event:
"Wow, what a long trail of bikes..." -Ang Mor lady
"This is crazy..." -May
"Who wants more bananas?" -Pamela
"It's too fast!" -Huishan
"After the night of cycling, I feel my ass crack all the way up my spine..." -Joseph
"Grace is stoning again..." -Caleb
"I wanna see the sunrise" -Sarah, who dozed off well before sunrise.

Today was one of those days that everything turn out bad. I thought I've called for a project discussion for the group, but it turned out that I've actually forgetten to inform them about the meeting. At least the majority of us had time to stay after lesson.
BTW, today's socialogy lessons today was good. We all discussed about deviance behaviour from the people around and we discussed about some pretty interestingly crazy things people did.
And back to the bad day, darling is sick. She was boiling hot and that fever really burnt my heart. I would have rushed her to a doctor if I did not have to chair that meeting. After the meeting, it began pouring! And the winds were so strong and chilling! Oh man, my poor girl...
Oops, some pretty heated discussions there. Freedom of speech but don't push it too far ok? And btw Hunter, girls do blame their PMS and menstruation on guys. I myself can't see the reasoning.
I went to the school gym today! I ran a little and did weights. I'm trying to further drop my weight. But in the meantime, I wanna work on growing some mass on the upper body to fill up my shirts properly. Haiz, i'm in such bad shape now. I was going to blog about something important to everyone but somehow, I just can't remember what I wanted to write about.
I just got back from Andy's ORD BBQ, wow! everyone's going to ORD already. So happy for them. The BBQ food was goooood... OF course lah, it's Andy's BBQ. Ben was there to make really good prawn also. Prawns with lots of garlic, beer and butter is simply amazing... Oh my... Oh ya, darling went with me to meet the good old army pals of mine. But sadly, I was the only guy from my batch of guys, :( Wassup with everyone else?!
Played mahjong also, miss the game siah...

What a long day it was today. School Started at 10 and lasted all the way till 8pm. Oh man... Radiation physics lessons was like retarded, i wonder why i still can't bare to skip that crappy lecture. Maybe I'm a good boy, maybe I'm don't have the guts, maybe i just wanna learn.
Haiz, I witnessed some major stuff today, I saw a girl bite a guy, and later walking off. Sometimes, guys just don't understand the rules of the games. "The guy is always wrong!". And there's this other guy who kept rubbing nonsense into the heated conflict. Haiz, wassup with the people around me? Why is this group of fun loving ppl hating one another and falling apart? This sucks.
Saw something else... that shouldn't be mentioned...
Back to the "The guy is always wrong" in a conflict thingy, guys JUST ADMIT you're in the wrong right from the beginning. This will prevent further conflicts and later when the girl cools off, she'll think about wat happened and if she's in the wrong, somehow she'll apologise later. (Disclaimer: I'm not taking sides here, this paragraph is totally not related to my earlier msg)

Here's an article I read on MSN Health:
http://content.health.msn.com/content/article/85/98720.htm
Here's a cut and paste of the important parts of the article.
Dairy Foods Help Burn Fat, Speed Weight Loss
Milk, Cheese, and Yogurt May Enhance Weight Loss Efforts
...Although calories still count, the study showed that obese adults who ate a high-dairy diet lost significantly more weight and fat than those who ate a low-dairy diet containing the same number of calories...
..."If you compare a dairy-rich versus a dairy-poor diet you can nearly double the rate of weight and fat loss with the same level of calorie restriction," ...
..."Calcium is a critical factor in controlling what your body does with calories, and dairy is an even more critical factor," says Zemel. "Without changing how many calories we take away, we can alter how much weight and fat you lose."...
...Excess fat in the abdominal area has been linked to a higher risk of heart attack and other health problems...
...Previous studies have shown that calcium can boost weight loss by increasing fat breakdown in fat cells. But experts say this study suggests that taking in calcium from dairy products may actually improve on those effects...
..."Dairy for some reason, yet unexplained, has a greater effect on fat loss and specifically trunk fat loss than does calcium alone," says Rachel Novotny...
...But Novotny and Zemel are careful to point out that the results shouldn't be interpreted as license to indulge in dairy products in hopes of spurring weight loss. They caution that the bottom line of successful weight loss is still burning more calories than you take in...
NuhC says: Erm... do note that in the article, only 32 ppl were studied and their diets are low in calorie. They don't go on with their normal diet habits and add dairy products on top of what they usually eat. So don't start pumping in dairy products, but I sure will up my dairy products intake...

Happy Birthday darling! Yesterday was darling Jie's birthday, great day spent with her.
It all started out with a visit to SGH, which is part of the school's circulum (it's a compulsory thing). Singapore General Hospital's diagnostic Radiology department. I was indeed interesting to see those machines and process and the endless maze of rooms in the department. And we got to see some behind the scenes action. Interesting...
When the whole thing finally ended, it was time for jie and i to break out from the rest of the class to go celebrate her birthday. Went on to celebrate her birthday in a cosy and sweet but unusual manner. There was a majr surprise from her good good pals at the end of the day, how nice of them...
Happy Birthday Darling!!!

Hey hey hey! I'm back in the cyber world! The shop at Funan is indeed nice, but I still think that follow earned quite alot from me! Anyway doesn't matter, my mum's footing the bill anyway.
Ok, life's been pretty scary the past few days. I'm a person who get stressed up about planning what to do when. Character flaw... Anyway, I've just cleared all of my tests, I think i've scored a pretty good AAAC for my four modules, will work extra hard on my C subject. And somehow, I did score an A for Radiation Physics. Maybe I'm just lucky with MCQ. Still physics sucks, I threw in 20 over hours to study for one damn test, that's alot alot compared to my peers. And all I did was remember the stuff and throw it back not understanding what I've learnt. I hate studying like that, but sometimes, I guess since it works, I'll stick to it. BTW, I wanna apologise to those whom i've bragged to and caused them to feel lousy. I admit that I'm really insensitive to keep bragging about my good results when your result aren't that up to your expections. It's another character flaw, haiz... why are there so many?
Oh ya, I ran into Mark Quek yesterday. Aw man, I really miss my army pals. Think I'll need to call for a meet up soon.
Bao bei's birthday is on Saturday, aw man... cracked my brains and my femur, tibia and fibula (those are leg bones) looking for a present. Hope she'll like it.
And also, I've discovered that many activities have been carried out without jio-ing me. Wah lao, jio me leh, got gf liao doesn't mean I don't have a life, I still wanna hang out with friends...

Oh man... I'm such a lazy bum! I've been refusing to bring my computer down to SLS to get it fixed! This time round, I think I'm feeling rich and I think I should just send it down to FUnan to let those propoerly dressed people fix my comp at a higher price! Although I have no problems with the Ah Bengs at SLS but somehow, I'm a person who believes alot in customer service, think I'll just pay for the smiles and the patience from the nicely dressed comp techs. Oh ya, I'm in the school comp lab now.
Here's how pathetic life has been without my comp. Quoted from my bro: "I have to ask my friend if he's going to be at home, so that I could go over to use the net. Sounds like donkey years back when the internet was the rich and famous' toy." Oooops, too bad bro, u want to use comp, why not u bring it down to whereever to get it fixed!
I've been down with a bad flu, oh man... medical fees in Singapore is so damn ex, I feel sooooooo squeezed... Bye
(the pathetic, no computer to use guy signs off...)
