It's official, Cynthia Fong Si Jie and I are really together. Too bad to the guys out there, she's mine, all mine, my precious. Sorry about not informing the world earlier, we didn't know how to tell everyone. But ya, we are happy together and we wish to get blessings from everyone. People who want to give cynical remarks should just fuck off!
Just me and my darling...

On the first day of school, it was orientation. Everyone was new to the environment, I joined Edwin and Jessie, forming a really noisy trio. We all introduced ourselves to everyone else we can identify as our course mate. I introduced myself to a girl called Cynthia but all I got was "Oei, how many times you want to intro yourself to me and how many times you want me to re-intro myself?". Well, I think I've forgotten that I've actually introduced myself to her. That's the first contact with Cynthia (that I can remember). She caught me as a confident, loud and cheerful girl. "Wow, why do I keep finding myself looking at her?". Orientation day ended and we moved on to school proper.
School was good, I continued hanging out with Ed and Jessie, slowly Audrey Charlene Jie Xin Stevyn Sammi Sharon Qinhui Clare started joining us in forming a major clique. But Cynthia, Wanzi and MingFei sort of sat away from us after the first lecture, I wonder what happened. There's one question that I always tend to ask: "Where's Cynthia? I thought she and her gang is supposed to join (to sit) with us?" Edwin will always go, "Haha! you and your cynthia...." Slowly I recalled about the picture card theory I saw on Discovery, and I was pretty sure Cynthia is my picture card.
We both started talking and chatting, and I think with the catalyzing effect of Edwin, we got close at an alarming rate. Stupid Edwin, announced to many people that Cynthia was my picture card. As the story goes on, we chat over the phone until late night (early morning) for 5 consecutive days. We're started hanging out together and the most wonderful thing happened when she agreed to go to Laiping's chalet/bbq with me. We finally had time together, alone. At the chalet, we isolated ourselves from the rest. We watched Lion King 2 and meanwhile Cynthia kept pestering me about who my picture card was, she claimed to be really interested to know who was the girl and that she could help. After alot alot alot of pestering, with both of us lying on the bed head to head, I told her "That girl is you".
*Do I hear "awww...." from the audience?*
