Here's something I saw from discovery channel and i think it's really interesting and i wanna share it.
Deep in the brain of everyone. There are about 20 picture "cards" of faces. These twenty faces are formed by the time you turn 5 and the formation of such faces are though to be from your mother, your care takers. And when we grow up to adults and when we meet new people of the opposite sex (provided you're straight), you'll suddenly feel an instant attraction to one particular person... It's like *ting!*, *woah!*, *wow!*... That's because that person somehow matches one of your 20 picture "cards". And of course, if you grow to like the person and if you actually get with him/her, you'll super love him/her. Interesting huh?
