The good old folks at Talkingcock.com are amazing, they can really talk cock, do visit their site at : www.talkingcock.com
Go read the Secret Dairies of the Dragon Prince, that one's a classic, I shan't post it because it's seriously going to get me into trouble with the Men-In-White.

Here's something I've read and taken off TalkingCock.com

WHAT IF HARRY POTTER WAS BASED IN SINGAPORE?

1. Qualifies as ‘foreign talent’ immediately. (Some more, his talent is damn foreign, one.)

2. Must buy COE for broom.

3. Also, after parking broom, must remember to put coupon.

4. Hogwarts becomes part of Through Train Programme.

5. Hogwarts to be renamed ‘Magicopolis’.

6. For mother tongue, put down ‘‘Parseltongue’.

7. In potions class, learn that potions can be either ‘heaty’ or ‘cooling’.

8. Will have to deal with being labelled a “mugger” in addition to a “muggle”.

9. Have fun along East Coast Parkway, shouting ‘Lumos!’ and disturbing the lovers in the bushes.

10. SingTel to provide owl-delivered messages as option in their mobile plans.

11. Hagrid kena put on the Trim And Fit programme.

12. After graduating from Hogwarts, kena do NS.

13. People will keep calling Hermione “Her-myon”.

14. The Dursleys will make him stay in the maid’s room instead of under the stairs. (The maid will stay under the stairs.)

15. Prisoner of Changi.

16. Encouraged to faster marry Hermione and have three kids before thirty.

17. Encouraged by Gahmen to become not just a “wizard” but a “wizapreneur”.

18. Gahmen declares it aims to make it to the Quidditch World Cup by 2010.

19. Meanwhile, Singapore Pools starts accepting bets for Quidditch.

20. Because of lightning-shaped scar on forehead, asked to join Youth Wing of certain political party.

21. Formation of Order of the Phoenix kena rejected by Registrar of Societies.

22. Cannot refer to dark overlords by actual name. (No difference there.)

23. Harry. Good name.

Msg from NuhC: Harry is the ang moh name of Mr LKY

Just finished watching the final finale of FRIENDS! My goodness, it's so sad that this long long long running comedy series is ending. They ending everything in a very very graceful way, mouth shut for now. But it's so damn sad that everything's ended. Sigh...

There's someone out in the sea, clinging to a styroform board. I know she's been trying to stay afloat, but there's like a 10kg weight belt strapped on. She's only afloat cos of her non-stop struggle plus the bouyancy of the styroform board. Now that the board's going to disappear, aw man... God save the board and the person.

I went east yesterday, to the airport. I haven't been to the airport for some time, wasn't there to send someone off, just there to have coffee, with Laiping, Ting and mich. The airport has changed quite a bit since the last time I was there. And the coffee bean was very unusually crowded yeseterday. Ting's friend who's a PSC scholar was flying off to Japan for an exchange program. Interesting person and we had a little discussion about "movies". Coffee was really timely, I needed the caffiene high to lift myself off the troubles floating around my mind. Headed to You Tiao Wang for supper again, this time i sat out with Laiping until pretty late to discuss about the happenings in life.

Today was pretty boring, I slept alot, and woke up really late. I watched the match last night, happy that my orange team got through, a bit tyco though. Due to some unforseen reasons I needed to eat dinner on my own. There's a salmon steak in my fridge and I decided to figure out how to make myself a salmon steak. Googled the web for a recipe and I changed a few ingredients with the cooking knowledge I've gained from endless hours of watching the NAked Chef.

Here's the recipe:
Salmon Steak
Light Soy Sause
Lemon Skin (do you hear the Naked Chef saying: "The lemon is an amazing source of intense flavour)
LEmon juice
Sugar
Salt
Ground pepper
Butter

Stir everything together and leave the salmon to marinate for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven at high. Then bake for 15 mins. It'll be good...

It's the last day my my NS liability. I've officially ORD-ed loh! It's finally over! Anyway the whole of the Medical Corps of the SAF celebrated this day with me. The celebrations was held at the newly opened Wild Wild Wet! Isn't it exciting? Bleah! yeah rite. There was a crappy telematch that no one give a shit about. Good thing was that CMC Sir felt that those things were painfully boring for a farewell celebration. He skillfully made his daughter act like she wanted to go for this water slide and thus sort of signalling the end of the telematch. There weren't many bikini chicks. I'll say 5? The arrangements made by the organisers sucked lah, they couldn't even arrange for more bikini chicks, only a little handful and none of them looked good. Mark and I headed straight for this ride called the Sidewinder. It's this U-shaped, something like Viking ship ride. You'll sit on a float and you'll be pushed down one arm of the U and you'll go up and down. We shouted like mad although there was only one free-falling drop, the kick was in the shouting. Everyone watched as we did our farewell shout! Thanks SAF MEdical Corps!

We went down to visit Marcus later with Andy, Jov Ian, Foo and Mark. Marcus looks so much better than 2 days ago. The bleeding stopped and he says the original owner of the graft hasn't been talking to him. Looks like he's making good progress and hope he'll recover soon. Hmmm... still the IS Manga series is attracting alot of my attention. Must borrow from him soon.

S02 Gathering In Ms Chng's Place

First, I must say that we have an amazing assistant Class Manager, YUKI! She's the best! Better than the real guy. We were supposed to meet up at 6.30 at Yishun MRT station and guess what? The full attendance was reached only at 6.50, as usual, S02 is never punctual. I met Norlin first, we were damn early, as early as 6, so we headed for coffee at Starbucks first. Anyone looked fine, Jag wore he's only MIB outfit (wonder if he ever changes), Yuki was in black and white (don't ask), Terri and Qiaohui were pretty as ever, Boon in her usual boy boy look (she's looking prettier by the day). Then there's Banu and Rose both in their tudong (is that how to spell?), they look good too. Qinli was in his usual serious clothing. ZB looked the same, only that he was wearing this accessory i've never seen him wear, a GIRLFRIEND.

The 804 ride to Ms Chng's place was really long and yah, she stays in an amazing apartment. It's an Exec Condo, so pretty so spacious. Her hubby looked familiar, he was a relief teacher in Pioneer for some time. We did some catching up and everyone was doing fine. We ate pizza delivery and had Ms Chng's famous dessert.Explored her place a little. While exploring the balcony, I stepped on this really wet grass carpet. Damn! But at least, I managed to trick everyone wearing socks to wet their socks with me. EVIL!!! Ms Chng looked gorgoeus in her wedding photos, so pretty. Jag being Jag pointed out, with a funny look on his face, this photo where Ms Chng had long hair, Jag... Jag...

I left a little early and went night cycling. The cycle was pretty good, with the ONE whining away. And the ONE was as usual LATE! Anyway... Laiping joined us for the first time, it was really fun, except that we got stopped by a police patrol car again! This time, "Where you all going?", "Where you guys came from?", we're allowed to carry on after answering the questions. Lucky thing was, Kok was using his cam to film a video of the speed we were cycling at, I saw the patrol car and told him to keep it on time. I'll try to get the video soon... Can hear me shouting "Matah, matah..." and the police officer asking questions.

This morning was another crazy day out. When I say morning, I mean 12 plus am. I met Kok for a night cycling session. It was a good night, no strong winds, no traffic, no people, BUT loads of police patrol cars. Kok and I was heading down Thompson Road in front of Novena Square, Kok thought we were turning right to Newton, but I told him to go straight. So there we were, me on the left most lane, Kok on the 2 lane. Since there wasn't a single bit of traffic, Kok decided the let go of the handle bar and just cruise down the junction. But sway-est of all sway things happened. There was a "Kampong Java" Police patrol car on the other side of the road watching Kok. Kok and the police man in the car had some eye contact, Kok knew he was in deep shit, but we still cycled on, into this small lane. We heard screaming tires coming from the back, and then came blue and red flashes. Oh shit! We stopped.

Once the police officer stepped out of the car, he started scolding kok like there was no tmr. "Why were cycling like that?!" "Why your bicycle don't have front and back lights?!" Why are you wearing a dark colored shirt?!" Kok's a police officer too, he kinda know the law also, and he knew there wasn't a real offence in what the officer was scolding him about. The officer also said: "There isn't a real criminal offense but still it's the safety of all road users we're talking about... ya da ya da..." So Kok was booked, as he flashed his police 11B, the officer lowered his tone. They are technically colleagues afterall. There was no face given when it came to the booking of names. He was warned not to ride recklessly and told to get lights. I hope the issue will not go further than where it was left at. But talking about reckless, is there a need to burn rubber (of the tires) while driving in a one lane road with cars parked on both sides?

I was watching News on TV just now. There's was something about our good ol LKY (er... that's Lee Kuan Yew for all the blurries out there) said in some lecture or talk.

"Eat less than you need to, work more than you need to, sleep well."

think about it...

Tiong Bahru Plaza, or is it Mall or something has a face lift. Ok, it isn't very much more happening but still it's nicer than the boring old look. Met Pony and charlene there. Charlene just got back from Aus and she's going to Uni, Congrats! Pony still looks jolly as ever and she was thinking of eating porridge, hmmm... reminds me of someone. The meet-up was REALLY short, and sweet. We sat down at Coffee Bean for a while, I was tricked to buy a cup of coffee and Charlene recieved a msg about meeting some guy in Orchard. Oh ya, Charlene can fold this really pretty Origami Ball... It was made for Pony tho, boo hoo... While she made the ball, I taught Pony how to fold a crane. Did you know? That they say, if you fold 1000 paper cranes, your wish will come true, and if you fold 10000, your paper cranes will fly...

I took a bus down to Orchard to join Jeremy and Clare, apparently Jeremy was trying to teach Clare how to play pool at MonsterCue. Aw man, I regreted being there the moment I stepped in. They were having such a good time alone and I felt like a major and super bright lamppost. Anyway, I still stayed around, played a couple of games against Jeremy, and taught Clare a few basic skills. I still think teaching and playing pool with girls is purely social. You don't really enjoy the game, you'll only enjoy the interaction and the company. I guess that was what Jeremy felt.

An hour after leaving home today, I discovered that there was only one bar left in my mobile's battery. My mobile died in a couple of hours. Last week, I left home with only one bar on both my mobile and my MD player. The MD died in an hour of playback but my mobile lasted for the day. So the lesson learnt is, life with one bar is pretty exciting, you'll never know when it's going to just stop working (out properly).

Wow, The Game is actually my blog fan. Yeah! Anyway I've gotten back from a day of money earning. Some guy introduced me to a one day project work, was supposed to clear up an Exhibition at the Expo called CommuniAsia (the spelling is there around lah).

Met The One at Kallang MRT, and u've guessed it, The One was late! Anyway the job was really cool, with a bunch of really funky and funny people. However, I must say that they're working style sucks, that's no wonder why they need like a million temp workers. Work was fun and I did earn a little cash.

Supper was at You Tiao Wang in Geylang with Laiping. The One wanted to share treat with me but just because it wasn't worth it to treat something so small in portion and not filling, he decided not to. Still I paid for Laiping.

Now I've got a mild sun burn. I feel like Rudolf now. Meeting Pony and Charlene tmr for lunch. HOpe i'll wake up in time...

Back from night cycling. This time, there were 7 people in the group. It was fun but some friction among the guys halfway thru. They others were interested in the tunnel that Kok and I ventured to, so we lead the way and brought them there. We went up fort canning too. Took a proper photo of the fort. The guys were damn excited about the downhill massive U-turn tracks on Fort Canning. We had supper at a prata stall in Upper Thompson. The pratas are damn crispy, but according to the other guys they say the pratas are small. (I hate it when ppl complain about small servings, and even more if they say they like the food cos the serving is huge). Anyway, these pratas are crispy, but not as hot and crispy as the yishun one. The Thompson one loses out cos they don't have the sambal chilli. So verdict, good prata, 4.5 stars compared to the perfect Yishun Prata.

Bad news is the Yishun prata has moved out of the old stall. And god knows where it is now, just watch it, i'll scour the whole of singapore to find you. You can run, but you can't hide, Mr Best Prata Man...

Finally found a nice song to post on my blog. Theme of the OC series. So nice rite? It's really nice but it's a whooping 3 megg sound clip. So for volume based users and dialup users like Jovita, you might wanna turn off autoplay of sounds by clicking Tools>Internet Options...>Advanced and uncheck the Sound check box. Cos it'll take alot of time to load AND if you're a volume based user, and if u visit my blog once a day, u're left with 256-(3*30)mb of traffic. Haha, if you visit Ian and my blog daily, that's like 180 mb gone per month! So be careful. CheerS!

Just got back. It's 3.30am now.

The days started crazily early today at 9am. I'm so not used to being awake at that terrible time. Met Jeremy at Whampoa for breakfast, I had Kway Teow Soup at my favourite childhood stall. Still good as ever (do i hear drooling from Down Under?) Okay, the main purpose of the meet up was not breakfast, it was actually to go for a walk in Bukit Timah. Jeremy said he read about a trail that leads from Bukit Timah Nature Reserve to Macritchie Reservior. After some enquires with the ranger, we started to HIKE instead of WALK! The path wasn't exactly the nicest paths around but it sure was good to walk in nature. Usually hikers will enjoy the scenery and try to identify plants and animals, however, we're cocksters and to us everything looked like *erhem* trees! They all looked the same. The track was nice, there was this part where we had to walk down Rifle Range Road. Passed Ammo Base and I was so tempted to shout ORD LOH! Oh ya, special thanks to the 3 friendly uncles we met in Bukit Timah, if not of them, we would never have found our way through this route that wasn't in the map we got (from the ranger). It took a total of 4 hours to hit Macritchie with a short break on a Tower and the whole track was about 11 kms long. We talked, we sang, we fenced (with branches), we laughed alot through the trip. So fun, I'm gonna miss you bro...

Met Jun Yuan, Qinli and ZB in the evening for steam boat and BBQ buffet at Marina South. They have this 10 dollar stall, but the food wasn't really good. There variety wasn't there but I can't complain, cos it was Jun Yuan's treat after all. We talked cock and exchanged love stories. Hmmm... pretty sad histories, hope ZB will score this time.

We all headed to KBox a Cineleisure after the buffet, Kok Keng joined us later. Everyone there weren't good singers except for Kok. Well, he wasn't from S02. Singing was fun, except for maybe some screaming and shouting for Jun Yuan and some really terribly changed words in songs that make be so paiseh. Songs like Xiao Wei: "Xiao wei ah... Ni ke zhi dao wo duo ai ni..." had certain words strategetical changed for a different idea altogether. Kok impressed the other S02 guys with his good singing skills and he pointed out some really good tips for me. I feel like a better karaoke-ster already.

Today is one of those days that I get up feeling refreshed. The alcohol yesterday did help in a way, that's strange cos usually i won't be able to sleep after alcohol.

Met Kok and his friends at Orchard Emerald Archade after a half hour wait. Bastard! (Kok, u see the point?) I feel so cheated cos Alvin didn't turn up and they were there for pure arcading. Damn! I can't play arcade for too long. Went to eat and played Starcraft later. I sucked. I haven't been playing for so long.

Headed for Zhaobao's birthday after the terrible afternoon. ZB's in the adult club. Loads of people there and many of our old class amtes were there. Wonder where are the sec and pri classmates. The list of peole there was, Jun Yuan, Qinli, Norlin, Banu, Rose (and BF), Nonie (and BF), Siew Wen, Terri and Qiaohui. Jun Yuan was having lotsa fun suaning Terri, Terri was like damn stressed but I'm sure it's all for fun and Terri should have somehow enjoyed it. Haha. Happy Birthday ZhaoBao!

Welcome back to Singapore!

That's for Laiping (and maybe Qh), my kopi kaki was over in Brunei on SAF Execerise for the past 21 days. When he came back he, Kok and Me met up for a late dinner at Cineleisure. And surprising from where we were, we could all feel the storm building up in the east and we've decided to get ready.

On Sunday,

I met Kok and LAiping again to go to TPY. I was there to get contacts lens and Laiping was there to fix up his old pair of glasses and Kok wwas tthere cos TPY is his place, so he might as well be there. Headed for Orchard where ping got tickets to some movie and met his girl. Kok got an ear piercing he's been thinking of getting since forever. Then we started walking all over the Orchard MRT side of Orchard until we hit Wisma's Sony Gallery. The facelift at Wisma's facade looks great and the escalator ride was nice. Saw the demostration of QRIO, Sony's humaniod robot. It's so cute, I'll try to get pix from Kok soon.

Headed for THE wan tan mee shop after a couple of rounds of Daytona. Alvin joined us and Laiping and Mich joined us soon after. Surprise surprise. Wan tan mee Uncle and Aunty were there! The have abandoned the original outlet for some time and with them back, the wan tan mee standard was good again! Some how, Allen Ho was there, and even more surprisingly, he was a friend of BMT mate, Yi Kai. ORD loh! I've been running into a couple of BMT mates recently, cool huh?

Finally I went down to DblO to meet jeremy and his gang of friends. Actually technically I know everyone there. There was Jonathan Chan who was my 5A 6A class mate in St Mikes, there was Tyrone who wa my P1-4A playmate in St Mikes, there was Jan who has been my next door classmate since forever also from St Mikes. Jeremy stayed in contact with all of them cos they went St Joseph. Clare was there, well she's Jeremy's ???girl???, Miss Cinderella was out clubbing, how amazing. There was YC, dunno him and his background. First time at DblO, it was nice and the lady crowd was young and pretty. Met Hilda and Roy there, they are really party animals. And the most shitty person to meet was evil cousin. Spoilt my day. Jer opened 2 bottles of Remy Martin, have quite a bit to drink and Jan was drunk soon enough. The DJ kept going on and on with retro that got boring in time. YC were there to fish, but he wasn't in luck.

Left with Clare at around 12, cos I really couldn't talk to anyone in the group. I didn't want to drink more oso. Clare lives in the estate next to mine. Assure Jeremy she was home safely and I took a walk home. So nice to send home a girl who lives so near.

I was watching F-R-I-E-N-D-S just now and it hit me pretty hard that it was the last season of FRIENDS. I love FRIENDS, I've been watching the show since like what, Sec 3? That was 1998 and it's been 6 years! I still remember Wai Cheong telling me about the cool comedy that I die die must watch, and I did, and I loved it. Awww man, at the end of each season, I looked forward to the next season of the crazy lives of Chandler, Ross, Joey, Monica, Rachael and Phoebe. Their hair went from long to short to long to short, and Rachael's hair got blonder over the years. Man, I've been watching the characters grow and now, it's all going to be over in 16 episodes. Crap...

Continued...

The wedding dinner turned out nice, talked quite abit to my 23 yr old cousin. Haven't seen him for the longest time. His sisters (my cousins) are all grown up and one of them has to serve Malaysia's National Service, how screwed for girls to join the army. Noticed this very pretty lady sitting in the groom's family table. Awwww man. So through marriage, I've gotten a rrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallllyyy pretty relative, she's my father's sister's daughter's husband's whoever.

Sunday started off with Dim Sum at this really nice Dim Sum place somewhere in KL. Food was good and we had about 15 people in our group. My aunties, aunty's husband, the cousins and the cousin's husband and children. I'm already hating the english way of naming relatives, so general. Then, there was Times Square, lots of shopping and eating. It's amazing how huge the shopping mall was. It took like 5 hours to get through everything. Dinner was Bak Kut Teh, Malaysia's Bak Kut Teh got lots of ingredient's in the soup and it tastes alot better than Singaporean ones.

Walked around the Pasar Malam at night, it's called Chi Chang Jie in Chinese, it's supposed to be Chinatown. All the stalls were selling pirated stuff of some kind. Quite sad, but we did eat Fried Fuk Kin (Hokkien) Noodle that my cousins claim is the top 4 in the whole of KL. Fuk Kin Mee is the Tze Cha stall kind, the black soy sause type. And of course it was great!

On Monday, we had lunch at this Steam Delicacy stall, everything is steamed and their steamed fish is the most popular. I love steamed fish and steamed everything. Then it was the coach ride back home. Well, there was a traffic jam AGAIN! and this time there was a major accident in the other side of the road. There was a coach without the front wind screen that flipped and lay sideways. A pile of scrap metal that looked a bit like a Proton Sega. And a chain of collided cars. And i think i saw something covered with a white cloth, i assume that was the deceased driver of the Proton (???). It was terrible to see such a sight, Malaysian drivers are screwed and their driving damn gangster, haiz...

Home Sweet Home, but wait! The adventure doesn't end, there was no water supply to bathe with and it wasn't only us. With some kaypohing skill and some kaypohs, I discovered that the main water pipe supplying water to the surrounding blocks was punctured when a contractor was doing piling works on top of the pipe. We had to collect water from water rationing trucks with pails and that was not really nice However it was a good experience and got lesson learnt. So the lesson learnt, if you are on the way back from KL, and if you really really think you need a bath, maybe, just maybe, you wouldn't be getting it...

Just got back last night from my trip to KL Malaysia. I didn't expect the trip to turn out that OKAY, cos trust me, with my brother and mother around if it's not bad, it's already damn good. Anyway the coach ride there was crazily long, so much longer than if we drove up. There was this massive traffic jam along the North South Highway, it took about an hour to a 10 km stretch. Oh man. Upon arrival in KL, we were introduced to well, more traffic jams. There was this crazy jam and well, the bus terminal was smack right in the middle of town, so it was a long long way in. Although it was not the first time I was in KL, but this time, the traffic really really got alot wrost.

Ate pork noodles there as the first meal, interestingly they don't really serve the yellow noodles we commonly see in Singapore, but more of the rice noodles, like Kway Teow, Bee Hoon, Mee Tai Mak.

Did I mention that I main purpose of going up KL for? I was there for my cousin's wedding dinner. I have 2 aunties and 1 uncle in KL, I think. My dad is one of the younger kids in the family so my cousins are all grow up adults. My aunty and cousin was nice enough to drive us around and we headed for the wedding dinner.

Gotta go now, more later...

So, today was another night cycling night. Kok was being the ever so big asshole. We were supposed to go in the early evening, however he had to much of crap and we only started the wild ride at 11:10pm. The route outside goes:
Thompson Road to Newton, Scotts Road and then Orchard. Orchard was pretty fun, we took a couple of photos and since it was like late, it wasn't crowded as usual.

Headed down Orchard, passed Istana, Plaza Singapura and then hit Raffles City. There happened to be this UrbanDream Singapore Arts Festival Presentation. 4 guys stay inside this Dream house set within the (usually Espirit) display window. They were real friendly and we took photos with them and I think their project is like so damn cool.

Next, we hit One Fullerton. Took photos at the Merlion and damn, we are scolded for cycling in. Screw them lah. Shenton Way was up next. The sleeping Shenton Way was totally deserted and there were no cars. We took photos in THE MIDDLE of the road.

Tanjong Pagar, then China Town and next ZOUK! We were there to check out the Mambo Nite crowd. Chio bus... Wahahaha. Then, we headed down to Scotts road again and back to the scary tunnel!

We really had Balls of Steel. It was still damn scary but this time, we decided to take photos! Two crazy boh liao guys (us!) cheong right back to the tunnel and took photos! While taking the photos, Kok told me, he saw something and we zipped off! Really toppest speed!!! But after some discussions, I believe it's those road post. It just looked like a silhouette of a person.

Blur Photo, but it shows the lighting, we were unable to stabilize the camera in night mode

I was trying to put something into the pouch. Silly look in the face!

There's something that I need to announce. My application for the bond with Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a Diagnostic Radiography just got approved. I went for the interview yesterday and I thought I totally screwed up, but pooof! some lady called in the morning. It's a scary thought to die die stick to the same job and cannot leave no matter what. FOR 6 DAMN YEARS !!! Well, at least I have a couple of weeks before I need to go down to sign the bond. Someone tell me what I should do!!! If I take it, I guess it's for the good of mankind, but what if I hate the course and job? Oh crap...
